Designed in 1912 by Walter Dean the Sunnyside Cruiser became so popular that it made up 90%of his business and we hope it will do the same for us!
She is a lovely sleek shape with a straight gunwale line and stepped Sapele decks.
The hull has a shallow vee bottom that will help when tracking across wider spaces of water without having a full keel so she retains great manouevreability.
The slim gunwales keep the weight down and the three simple thwarts allow for many different paddling positions.
The hull is predominantly Cedar with Pine stripes and has been covered inside and out with epoxy resin and fiberglass cloth rendering her tough and waterproof. The gunwales and stems are made from tough springy Ash and the cockpit coamings are in Oak.
A great easy paddling recreational canoe.
