Malecite is the classic Jim Henry design that started it all. This mist green beauty was built in 1983 when Mad River was still family owned and operated in Vermont. The conglomerate that later bought out Mad River and moved it to North Carolina has now discontinued the Malecite. This 16’ 6” long, Kevlar 49 weighs only 50 lb. Native Vermont white ash rails; mahogany decks; 2 caned seats; center portage yoke. Single owner; gently used; always stored in garage, so in very good condition. More photos available.
