Beautiful 17' all around kayak. I grew up Kayaking - my father is a past president of the American canoe organization and built custom kayaks. No offense to dad but this is the best boat I have ever paddled. Unfortunately, cannot keep her.
This is a used boat but after that she was dry docked and totally stripped, had all new fiberglass and finish and paint done and has not been used since. MSRP to buy the kit to build her a few years ago was $1,100
This is one of the best all round kayaks I've every paddled. It is light and strong and tracks perfectly. It is also one of the very fastest kayaks in its class. I find it very stable in rough waters; I've taken many trips around Angel Island and out the Gate and to the mouth of Tomales Bay in windy conditions as well as across Lake Tahoe in strong wind. I feel very comfortable and secure in this boat.
