Alex Comb of Stewart River Boatworks restored an old 1920 17ft E.MWhite canoe and the hull struck him as the most perfect lines ever .He decided to trace off the canoe and build a mould so he can make duplicates of this classic canoe.This one is the first off the mould and our families first canoe (kids were small then!).Its also the very canoe and mould featured in his 2 videos on building this canoe and mould. Always garaged its in excellent shape and has all Cherry trim white cedar ribs and planking along with a hand carved yoke.It weighs only 65 lbs with a 35" width 13" depth,and a touch of tumblehome.I will miss this canoe! Pickup preferred on Long Island,NY where you can pay by cash or I may meet you at a half way point to the neighboring States. On the Stewart River Boatworks website this model is called Emily and lists for $4700 new.
